Francis McDougall Room

The Francis McDougall Room is named after the founder of the Mission School, Dr Francis Thomas McDougall. He set sail from London on 30 December 1847, arriving in Sarawak on St Peter’s Day, 29th June 1848. He was received into the house of the Rajah, James Brooke, who promised land for a school as well as a church. Room accommodates six. There are three bunk beds (six beds) and an en-suite bathroom.
