
The Francis and Harriette McDougall Rooms, are named after the founders of the Mission School, Dr Francis Thomas McDougall and his wife, Harriette, missionaries who set sail from London on 30 December 1847. Arriving in Sarawak on St Peter’s Day, 29th June 1848, they were received into the house of the Rajah, James Brooke, who promised land for a school as well as a church. The McDougall rooms accommodate six in each room. There are three bunk beds (six beds) and an en-suite bathroom.
